Lisa McManus

I was born in sunny Preston and have lived in Brighton and London. I enjoy documenting mine, my husband and my son’s adventures and writing about anything arts, style, travel or nature related. I work as a photographer, PR, writer and editor.

I love photography, walking in desolate wild places, swimming, cycling, the waves, electronic music, independent films, French cinema, popcorn movies and strolling around cities. I particularly love discovering a new street I never knew existed and I like seeing art – in galleries, on the street, anywhere. I buzz off it. Also like looking up at the sky, watching the birds and planes, chatting to my friends and people I meet on my travels around town.

2018 update: I am excited about featuring the work of other authors and creative people on Miss Chipie over the next year, they will be fully credited. Otherwise all photos & writing on this blog are mine, if you would like to use a photo leave a message below.

Thanks for stopping by,

Miss Chipie

    • Tring looks like a lovely part of the country, sometimes we travel through on the way to the south-east. We’re in the north-west, close to Manchester and sunny Blackpool. 🙂 Will look forward to reading your posts.

      • I hear Manchester is awesome! We have over 300 days of sunshine here which is a blessing. I look forward to reading your posts as well. Have a fabulous day!
